The Library’s research help desk is your primary contact point for any research questions or library services
The research help desk can assist with locating sources, refining your research strategies, selecting appropriate databases, formatting, and much more!
You can communicate with the research help desk via telephone, email, in-person, or through the online web chat.
Chat with a Librarian: Regis partners with other Jesuit Universities so you have access to a reference librarian 24/7, with the exception of major holidays, through the chat box available on the Library home page.
All you need to do is type into the box at the bottom of the chat screen. After you are done typing, hit enter and your message will appear for the librarian to see in the chat window.
The librarian will respond to your query within the chat window.
The Dayton Memorial Library is dedicated to providing a full range of library services and resources to Regis students and faculty, without regard to their geographic location.
The Dayton Memorial Library (DML) was built in 1966 and is located on the Northwest Denver campus. It underwent a major renovation in 1997.
Library collections include:
over 393,000 print books, serial backfiles, government documents, bound periodicals, and newspapers
over 118,000 ebooks
over 13,000 media materials
Access to online resources selected to support all Regis programs.
Full-text articles and reference information available through licensed databases.
Interlibrary Loan services available, usually at no extra charge;we can get articles and books for you whether Regis owns them or not.
Article and book delivery services for Regis distance students*.
Personal reference and research assistance provided over 70 hours a week from reference desk at Dayton Memorial Library. Assistance by phone (including toll-free access) as well as by e-mail, by chat (available 24/7) and in person.
Borrowing privileges and in-house access to library resources for alumni and community patrons at Dayton Memorial Library
You may be required to access required readings for your course in the Library website. If so, go to ereserves and login with your Regis username and password, to look up your specific course e-reserve.
To access the e-reserves for your course, go to the Library website and hover over the tab titled, "Reserves." Click on the link titled "E-reserves".
Your courses will be listed in the "My Courses" box on the Main Menu.
If you do not see any courses listed, you can search for your courses by clicking the "Search Courses" link found within the "My Courses" box.
Use the dropdown menu to select whether you'd like to search by Course Number, Course Name, or the Course Code.
Enter the identifying information in the text box and click "Go".
The course you search for will appear. Click the green "+" for your section to add your course's e-reserves to your list.
Parents, Family and Caregiver Spaces
Parent-Child Study Room: Room 407 Includes a study area for parents and a children's area with toys and books.
Lactation Room: Room 412 A private space for individuals to pump or nurse. Available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Changing Tables: 4th Floor Restrooms Changing tables located in both gender inclusive restrooms on the 4th floor.
Juvenile Collection: on 4th Floor Browse through our collection of children's literature.
